Who Invented Mercy Anyway....
Spring Break is here and green open spaces are calling, but a thought for anybody who drops by:
The good are innocent so they ask for justice.
The bad are guilty and that's why they ask for mercy.
The good are innocent so they ask for justice.
The bad are guilty and that's why they ask for mercy.

5 Comments:
Sometimes it's the good and innocent - who have to beg for mercy,
While the bad who feel no guilt -insist on extracting "justice".

But the righteous ask for mercy for the wicked too. That is what defines them. (i.e. Avraham for Sodom and Amorah)

Hmm I don't knwo if I agree, having mercy is a good trait and perhaps It Was Invented(Created) so that we would hav an opportunity to use it.

Hashem in his infinite goodness made mercy part of justice. So that he does not have to leave the justice mode to show mercy. Chessed UMishapat...
